I can tell you this .... that while i was studying the new B ... security jumped up on the stage and quickly closed all the doors and then just as quick covered the car. While he was doing this he motioned for another security guard to help him out with the cover and i over heard him say ....

" We have to cover this now, they got a guy with a camera and he took pics "

And no sooner was that said then both cars were covered up again. They didnt even stop the rotation first, and watching them try and cover the xB2 while in motion was rather funny.

What isnt funny is that if those who did manage to sneak pics would post them. Believe me when i tell you that i wasnt drinking and still have vivid memories of the cars, but would love to see them again. I like everyone else will just have to wait.

BTW ... with all the goings on at Loews ... im not so sure Loews would let us come back! LOL

AND THE CARS TOO.....BUT I AIN'T SHARING!!!! and SHAME on you for even asking.... Mr. Templin and company would NOT BE HAPPY...

Thanks for all handshakes and compliments. The only thing I regret is I MISSED JENNA JAMISON. Didn't get in til 5am on Friday then it was off to setup the show. Glad you all had a great time! Nice meeting many of you!

I beleive its all marketing...Lets show select fans first.....get them hyped up.....spread the word and get the rest of the Scion Community hyped up.....and by the time these vehicles are released....no one is going to care how much they cost or what they look like....make people want something so bad that they dont even know what it is just by teasing.......I bet by the end of the week...there will be crappy pics posted on other websites created by Scion....just to amp the anticipation even more.....

I will wait it out, but if the new xB looks as good as the first, with more power.......I think there will be alot of used 05, 06 and some 07 tC's hitting the dealerhips.....I know mine will be!

some guys snuck into the ludacris concert from hin....i saw them taking pics, but by then, the sheets were thrown back on the scions.

you would have to be pretty simple to believe that scion marketing doesnt want a few pics to get out. Or that they didn't expect any to be taken. Its not like scion isn't known for creative marketing ploys.

 

that's my guess! i know they were cool and all, but dang, i thought someone would've got some pic, otherwise the event was just a bunch of people who are going to talk about it, and i'll be damned if i can really remember everything about them, lol.

 

there was the zippo cam, that got caught after it got in, then the few that got in with camera phones, one took pics of the limo the collage and a few other things in that room, he was caught quick and they took that guys phone

 

Rado's Spy Car was just about a shell...... one guy popped the hood..... the intercooler wasn't attached to anything, plus... no turbo, no manifold, no valve cover, no battery. There was just a power inverter sitting where the valve cover would have been. The interior was falling apart... there were various parts sitting on the back seats.
I was highly disappointed.

 

those parts were parts he had to take off for the flamethrower
