Yup, going by what your insurance company is charging as far as points is not always accurate because of several factors.

The best way to figure out how many points are on your driving record would be to physically go down to a DMV office and get a copy of your motor vehicle record (at least that's what would be best in Cali).

 

I'm suprised your insurance company and/or the State of Tennessee hasn't already informed you!

I don't have 6 speeding tickets and the accident wasn't my fault. Someone ran a light and I hit them. Why is it soooo hard for everyone to understand this. Also, what is the common sense that I am supposed to learn? So I speed. I guess no one else on this whole forum has had a speeding ticket. And I'm not a dude I'm a girl if you can read. I asked a question and now everyone wants to talk about how I should have learned and if I stop speeding then I wouldn't have gotten in my accident. Speeding wasn't a factor in my accident never was, even the guy who ran in front of me stated I wasn't speeding. Ya'll need to read before you reply to something.

From my experience here in washington anything up to 30m/h over the speed limit is 2 points and 31+ is 3 points
accidents vary...i think the most points i ever had were 12 or something like that...and what that means is that i was paying MORE for insurance ($412) than the car i had at the time ($300)

I love the xB, I really do. It's a nice crusier and def. a looker. But to honestly think that an xB would "Kill" (as you so eloquently put it), is just one of the most ubsurd statements I've heard. Bro, where are you getting your facts from.

xB 0-60 = 10.6 secs.

tC 0-60 = 7.4 secs.

Didn't know 10.6 was faster than 7.4. Maybe if your xB had some boost on it, and the tC was all stock, then you got yourself a toss up. But a stock xB trying to kill a tC is just ridiculous.

PS..xB has 100hp at the CRANK! Not 125-130whp.

Are you talking about a boosted xB? Cause that is the only thing I can think of, that would give it a run. And even then, it would be a close race, not a straight out onslaught.

Do me a favor and read next time. Did i ever say a stock xb? No. What i said was, a 125-130whp box would kill a tC. Referring to, boost or n/a, modified 1nz that has 125whp+ would kill a stock tC. Even a modified tC given reason depending on whp.

Theres been a few xbs with 140whp+. Oh, and the crank isn't a 100hp. You have "mis-leading" information. The xb has 106hp with new SAE ratings, old ratings was 108hp. Get your facts straight and read next time before you try to "prove" my statements wrong.

I don't think I could have recieved a Bachelor of Science degree w/ a major in Management Information Systems if I couldn't read. Again, KILL (as you so eloquently expressed it) would not be the case. The xB should edge out a victory, but as far as a straight out KILL, I would have to see at least 3 car length victory to consider that a kill. Drivers skill would have to play to much of a role in this one to claim a straight-out KILL. Not to mention, your talking about racing a STOCK tC. If the tC racer is stock, and they even participate in racing, it wouldn't be stock for long. The way you wrote the sentence, it didn't mention anything about being boosted. All you said was "125-130whp would kill a tC". Guess I was suppose to read between the lines and know you meant a boosted xB. And a boosted xB against a modded tC, now you are really stretching it. Don't get upset, if I disagree with you bro. It's all a matter of opinion. Give me only an S-pipe, Full Cat-back, and a crank pulley, and I would run against a boosted xB anytime you or your friends are feeling froggy.

I figured you would catch on to the fact i was implying a modded xb being no one short of ignorant would believe 120whp is stock for an xb. And by modified tC, that can many anything. i/h/e tC would deliever around 155whp on average. Take 130whp xb. Given weight difference and gearing, same driver skill, xb would indeed fact kill the tC. Stock tC would not stand a chance with 130whp on a xb or xa.

Oh, and in terms of autox goes. Xb doesn't even need that much whp to beat a tC. I have beat a few tCs (stock and modified) in autox events. Of course, totally different type of racing but. Yeah.

And if you want to meet up some time, and have friendly runs i'll give you a run for your money at least. (sort of speak) I have finished first with overall times 6 of 8 last season, and i beat quite a few out of class cars with overall times.
