i understand that. CHRIST are you guys dense or am i the retarded one.

you shouldnt have to drive very high rpm at all times in oder to not be ***** **** slow!.

with those cars you have two options and that it. below 4k or so and no power , or above 4k and tons of it. there is no gradual middle ground.

i would just like to be able to have like 70ish hp while popping in and out of traffic. instead of a honda where you have like 30 or 40 and a snail........ or you bump up to mid to high 100's. ya know ?

and little thrusters for lateral movements. that'd be awesome. too bad that'd cost a bit more than 17k, and insurance MAY not take it...

I picked the tC. Its such a great platform to build off of. I havent heard too many that can say that about the RSX. Ive driven one. I just dont like how it handles. To me, not driver friendly. Feels to work against you.

the tc handles much worse than the rsx does.
least from every rsx and tc i've ever driven.

indeed. its different driving one if you're into actually DRIVING the tc for what it is. its good, but it has inherent limitations. most people believe they know what is good handling and what isnt. sorry to say, this is not true. until you've done some form of racing other than drag, you just don't know.

i love my tc's handling. but there are definitely limits.

I didnt feel that i was working against the tC as I was with the RSX. It might be my rally side talking, but i felt the tC was a great slalom car(mass potential), and the RSX was more of a.....roundy round track car.

There are limitations in every car. Thats what modification eliminates. I just liked the base plant of the tC a lot better than the RSX. I dont think i can say ive ever bought a car that i had intentions of keeping stock. I get a car, then i build it the way i want it to perform and handle. I just look for a good base plant.

has anyone been following the RSX's in the Europeon circuits? I wonder if the tC will make it in there.

tC.. i've driven the first gen RSX-S.. iwasnt really that impresses cept for the stock handling... its a high revving engine so u wont feel power in the lower rpms like the tC's torque.. only 140lbs of torque.. also RSX engines blow easily.. many pplz misshifted once and blew it up.. cuz it does redline at around 8K..

tC FTW!!....
i've driven my cousin's tC plenty of times
simliar interior space, simliar trunk space
the only thing "space wise" that the tC wins is that stupid middle plastic cover in the rearseats the type-s has

why are you hating on the "lift" so much? its advanced technology man
its what keeps us little 4 bangers up there with the v6/v8 boys
and have a great mpg in the process
you know that we make power after 4,000rpms and nothing under it, who cares
that's what downshifting is for
boom, instant power

haha what the heck? What kind of trickery is this?! In no way is the s2k a crappy car and no I did not bother to read the other comments lol. The s2k can rev to almost 9 rpm, rwd, and has the JDM sex appeal that other cars will always strive to achieve.
