well im back.. .....thanks every for your input and some laughs i needed them was so scared yesterday lol.... ...well i guess the judge liked me and i did make the whole court room laugh..hahaha...and told her why i was speeding fell asleep at girlfriends house and was going home because i had to go to work in a few hours..but didnt realize i was going so fast...so she didnt take away my licence and gave me a $300 doller fine...

 

Thank God I'm asian. I'll have to use that second excuse. He called me rice head officer.

 

how many points?? thats the key.. a fine is over and done with, points stay with you and affect your insurance rates, etc..

points dont carry over from state to state if you have a pa license
ie. if i have a jersey license and speeding in pa and i get convicted 2 points carry over to my nj dmv
but if i had a pa license and got convicted for speeding in jersey no points will carry over to my pa dmv
i know this cuz im thinking about switching my nj license to the pa license

im not sure on the points but she did reduce the ticket to under 100 mph..was just so happy she didnt take away my licence that i didnt ask any questions just said thank you and waited quietly for my paperwork...

 

no, i think you are right bout that. but u can't just switch over your license to PA your license is supposed to be where your current home address is located.
