so i had to go get cali plates, had the car in kansas city missori for about 2 years..Anyways i really did not want to tear the car apart for the very little things i had on it so i took to the smog station ..they used the new smog machine (rolling dyno) was kinda ackward first time i seen this thing ...so here is what i have on my box : injen short ram (carb) meagan header not legal and strup v1 axle back.ngk iriduim plugs:...he poped the hood looked around a bit ,then put the thing in the muffler,looked under the car belive was checking for a cat ,then started the test ,and done all he said in his broken english was very good very good..gave him 55 bucks and was out ..just thought id let some of the smog guys know ....

 

no doubt you'll pass smog, but you will fail the visual inspection test.

 

Well, he apparently passed the visual.
The header on an xB is in the back, so I doubt most people would notice it.

 

thankyou ..yes i passed everything he did not even look in the back for the header just looked and the intake a bit that was it...from what i remmber a while back you are supposed to type the carb number in the computer he did not do that ..also ya cant really tell that its a intake as you can only see the pipe and no the filter so maybe he thought it was just for looks...
