2002-2006 nissan altima-all info please
Please no haters, I am just looking for some help here.
I am thinking about getting a Nissan Altima (2002-2006) with the 2.5 four. I currently have a 1st gen xB which I love but as life changes so am I and there are things I got the xB for that it has performed 100times better than expected but unfortunately life has made something like an Altima seem like the perfect choice.
So who knows anything factual or even from riding/driving in one that might help me know more about this car? I don't like the looks of the one before these years even though they are bombproof and I am not really crazy about the 2007 or newer.
Any help would be great, thanks

i owned one. i loved it. i had an 03, but gave it to my sister and i bought the tc. the 2.5 is slow. get the 3.5 if you can you wont regret paying the extra.

Cool, I am glad to hear that. I am a member of the nico as well as nissanclub but as always it seems a bit biased.
I am going from a 1st gen xB so it should seem pretty fast to me with the 2.5 I would guess. My GF has a 2006 Sonata with the 235 hp V6 and it's really fast but I like the 4 cylinders mileage better and from what I hear the 4 is a little longer lasting and requires less money for maintinence, etc.
Was it a comfortable car? Did you lower it or wheels and tires?

the 6 is a better engine btw, less recalls.
it was a great ride. i lowered mine, 18in wheels, custom painted grille, DEPO head and taillights, NISMO CAI etc...
i wish i would have gotten the 6 tho, if i had the 6 im not sure if i would have let it go to my sister.
