I happened across an older 67-70 Corona sedan last night on the street. Got a good photo, so I can cross THAT off the list! Eight cars to go!

Still going to try to do that Corona coupe... but I am going to put it off as long as I have good-quality high-res photos to do... they are MUCH easier.

Hehe... that black Paseo was already posted in this thread... maybe page 2? The blue photo is PERFECT, but not high enough resolution. You see, when I create the illustration I have to zoom in on the photo to make the details. Although the illustrations you see are fairly small, they are created in vector art so that I can export them as large as I need them. That means that I have to have very fine detail to start with.

Here is an example of that blue Paseo zoomed in, and then a photo that I took a few days ago of another car. They are zoomed in the same, but as you can see the Paseo turns into giant blocks of color while the high-res photo is still recognizeable.

You are trying SO hard! That photo is also low-resolution. The photo has to be BIG... like at least 1024x768 (twice as big).

The photo is EXACTLY what I need, just not good enough resolution!

That leaves only seven images still needed! You could earn your own free ScionLife goodies. The list is at the top of page one!

I haven't tried that one yet.... but I can tell that although I COULD use it it will be a pain. I'm gonna sit on it and see if I can get something better... but I'll hook you up for two photos anyway. You get an A for effort.

Again, good try, but the resolution is pretty bad. Camera is a tad high, but I could have probably made it work for that car... if it was a large enough photo.

Well, the issue isn't just photo size, it is resolution. Those are two different things. I photo that is taken with a high-resolution camera will have a LOT of detail and a very large photo size. If you just increase the size of a low-resolution (small) photo then you don't increase the detail... you just get big blocky pixels in a big photo. Look at the door handles in that 1980 Corona photo... they have no detail, they are just blobs. I would never be able to accurately draw the finer details from that photo because they are all distorted. I need a photo that is large AND has good detail.
