ok, so my xbox is malfunctioning....again, for the third time. Basically i got a 360 in august last yr, then it annihiliated a disc and created a large scratch that wouldn't allow the game to play anymore, so i went up and got a new 360. A few months later the second 360 i had just stopped reading any disc at all so i sent it back in and microsoft sent me back a new one, that box recently did what the first one did, which is create a massive gash on the disc not allowing it to play


ok guys, i like the 360, but come on, i'm going on my 4th 360 for god sake!!
he whole sending it in and getting a new one blah blah blah is getting old. Think i should just stick with it for halo 3 and GOW, or try to get all my money back for everything i have bought for the 360?

I dont think you could get your money back unless you sold it as "new" when they send you back a replacement.

That sucks that this is happening... I just picked up a broken 360 for $200, sent it in and they replaced it with a new one. Worked out great for me, but sucks that its not working for you.

If you really love Halo, then I would wait out for the 3rd and last installment in the series. GoW is pretty sick too. There also is talks of a 360v.2, which will include HDMI out and a 120gb HDD. Could wait for these new versions to be released.

I hope everything works out for you. I love my 360 and would be ripping if it crapped out on me all the time...

i'd try returning it to the original seller.

and when replacing it get the 2 year warranty.

best buy allows you to trade it straight across within the 2 years.
