all in all i liked the movie i know there were some bad parts but hey its just a movie, the vin diesel thing at the end i thought it was a good touch at the end and gives everyone a hope for a forth movie well i give the movie two thumbs up.

they shyed away from talkin bout mods on the car and what not cause thats what made the 1st and 2nd movie a laugh factory. 4th movie is already being put togethor..just waiting for the phone call to rent my car again =)

I would say this was the best F&F of them all. Kills the previous two. 1 & 2 seemed like Kiddie movies with cracker jack cars. These are real cars in this one. I give it a thumbs up.

most of the women in the movie werent japanese like you said. Getting japanese extras for the film was hard for the most part so when they olaced the extras in the scene, the japanese ones were placed close to the front first and then everyone else further back that wouldnt be noticed as much.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I am sure that it is comparable to Memoirs of a Geisha. How can I make that stretch?

Bad acting all around.
Main characters are not Japanese, don't speak Japanese, or even LOOK Japanese.
All flash and little substance.
Exploits for a profit that which the movie is supposed to be glorifying.

I could go on.

a lot of the movie was shot in Japan but I saw some of the scenes were shot in LA. Anyone know the real name of DK's girl? I can't wait for the DVD to hit the shelves!

actually only 30% of the movie was shot in japan. i was on set a lot of the time.

My wife said the place where Sean was living with his Dad is an area called Mita. It's by Shinagawa in tikyo. She caught a street sign or something. Rainbow Bridge was cool, Diakoku where Sean and Nila ate some noodles. It was cool to watch just cuz I know those places.
Verena Mei was one of the girls in the silver and blue Skyline I think. I would like to see more VIP style cars next time. Too bad this time sice there was Yakuza.

I thought shes pretty hot too, and that other japanese girl running around with bow wow's crowd, Keiko Kitagawa.

bingo jim! =( there were vip style cars on set but problem is that they are all dark colored and on film it shows up blurry. so they all got shoved in the back sadly.
