Default Almost died two days ago :(

So two days ago I got in an accident where I hit a wall, then another car hit the wall, and then another. Basically it was a disaster and I am pretty sure my car is totaled

I will let u know what happens as I hear from the insurance. the body shop says @ least 8k in damages.

The list of damages goes as follows:
Front bumber
Front right fender
Front right rim
Front right axle
Rear bumber
Rear left quarter panel
Real tale light
Rear axle
Rear right rim
Rear door
Left passenger drum break
Bleeding of brakes

Glad to hear you're okay. And TRDxD, why wouldn't you hope for a total loss with that much damage? I'd hope it is.. I wouldn't want to fix it for half the cost of the car..

And OP, it's bumPer, not bumBer.

Yeah if they total my car (which is a possibility) then I am loooking for a new XD.

I'm just glad I bought the GAP insurance through toyota financial roflmao.

I hit the wall IkonXone by hydroplaning going 55mph on the freeway and slamming into it. It wasn't pretty and there wasn't much of anything I could do in the 3 seconds that it happened.

If they fix the car Imma take it to an idependent Body shop or a dealer body shop to get a frame analysis. IF the frame is bent still imma ask them to total it. If it isn't (which i doubt) then I am going to get an assload of new parts on my car

Speaking of hydroplaning.. I've hydroplaned before, but nothing like my drive home from work last week. I was going 35-40 on the freeway for more than half the way home (15 min). Anything over that, and I'd feel the water under the tires. Scary stuff. Again, glad you're safe man.

Alright well rightnow I am trying to get my insurance company to total the xa because of the extent of the damages. I went over to the body shop today and my damages are 7,100 dollars. So basically about 75% of the vehicles value.
It looks so bad I feel bad that I wrecked it.

don't blame yourself on it. hydroplaning is a freak accident, and obviously you weren't alone in the situation. many others felt your pain that day. hopefully you can get it totaled as you want, and open up some new options for your daily.

Well good news my friends I got the car back today and man does this thing look SEXY! I mean they basically painted my front and back ends and since I requested all man. parts from allstate It looks sexy. I'll have pictures up once I give it a good wash tommorow.....I'm excited to have it back. Should I give it an oil change since it has been sitting so long?

AND SORRY FOR THE NECRO POST I DIDNT WANT TO MAKE A NEW TOPIC!
