I was sitting at a stoplight this afternoon, not paying too much attention to what was coming up behind me. Looked in the rearview mirror and almost crashed into the car in front of me I was so frightened by the UNLYNESS that I was looking at. What was it? The front end of a new Subaru Outback Sport, the same grill as on the new Impreza. It looks like something right out of a sci-fi movie...not cool. Well, at least not to me!

 

It looks like a toilet seat.

My wife drives a Legacy wagon, so I'm very fond of subies... but not the changes to the 2006!

 

I'm an '05 WRX owner, and I love the new look. I'm thinking about paying mine under and trading for a new one (for the 2.5l engine). Kinda debating between the WRX wagon and a Legacy GT. The GT is no doubt a nicer car, but I don't think i should get one until the spec B features become standard (probably next year). On the other hand, the WRX wagon has the 2.5l, more space than my current sedan, slightly better performance (than my 05), and the all-important "You just got spanked by a wagon!" factor.

Nothing like getting turboback exhaust, sti injectors, VF34, FMIC, protune then swapping hoods with a normal Impreza. Sleeper style. People are all, "Oh look at that single guy get into that station wagon, what a -*chkvrvrvrWHOOOOOMRUMPARUMPARUMPARUMPA*

 

that's definitly not a good front for that car
