Actually, to dip their hands into funeral directors' piggy banks. Casket and urn sales are a HUGE business. Fortunately, Wal-Mart isn't selling vaults, which are required for in-ground burial. HA!

Yeah this is pretty much an all-time low for Wal-Mart (shocking, right?). Undercutting the price for an 18-guage casket - whereas most are 20-guage from funeral homes.

I'm pretty sure poor Sam Walton is turning over in his grave right now (no pun intended).

They ship via FedEx. Must ship truck though because caskets - even sans body - are very heavy. They still have to pick it up at the funeral home.
