Anyone else have an iPhone version 1.1.3.
a co-worker of mine tried to hack his and ended up breaking it. So be careful if you try, apple won't replace it for you. That being said, is there any word on if you can get it to work for verizon or not? Last i checked you still can't. But good luck hacking, and let me know what happens.
Well with the research I have done thus far I see that they can be unlocked so they can be used for different carriers. Whether or not it can work with Verizon, I am not 100% sure.
i dont think there is a way for OTB 113 to jailbreak just yet. some say that you can downgrade to 112 and 111 then jailbreak it then upgrade back to 113, but theres a slight possibility that you might brick it. just wait a few more months for the release of jailbreak for OTB 113.
if your interested more about how to do stuff check out this forum i always go to and have a very reliable sources:

oh Verizon does not have sim cards, so sorry it wont work. and neither does sprint too.

thanks I have been on planet-iphones but no one there is willing to help. I will check it out though. I have tried to downgrade to 112 or 111 but I ended up having to restore the phone. I will have to be patient I guess.
I don't have an OTB 1.1.3, but mine is jailbroken at it. I upgraded to 1.1.3 for the baseband, then downgraded to jailbreak it. Works like a charm. www.modmyifone.com is a great site. I used to follow those guys when they were tearing up moto's

I got a 1.1.3 iPhone but I jailbroke it back in the day so upgrading it to 1.1.3 was pretty easy.
Like Madzozs and bluaeonsaid, modmyiphone.com is a GREAT site. They just released a very to use jailbreak method that works with both 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 OTB versions.
