The reason I ask is because I have two Eastern Box turtles, and am moving to Nevada soon. I am not sure that these guys will be able to handle the new environment, but I hate the idea of leaving them behind. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

it depends on if you are going to be keeping them indoors or out side. If you keep the outside i wouldn't bring them. The heat will likely kill them. If you keep them inside you should be ok, just make sure you have a cage about 4 feet wide by 2 feet long by 1 foot high, a place for them to bask (heat lamp) and food and water and what not. If you need to know anything else just ask me and ill dig out one of my turtle books and try to help you out as best i can. I never was huge on turtles, mostly boas, pythons, and the larger lizards. But i can hold my own if a conversation about them comes up. hope i helped.
