Don't take this wrong but thats the type of thing people draw when they are bored in class.

Do you want my honest opinion? It doesn't suck, but I don't see it as being anything special. You have some talent (you draw better than me), but it looks alot like the doodles on my 12 yr old son's books.
This is great. It has its own uniqueness. There are other terms for it but I would say its a assymetrical abstract art. But just to let you know most people that enter galleries have extremely large pieces. What will make you stand out would be making it larger, using not cheap ballpoint pen or colored pencils, and more colors. To me it looks incomplete, but a work waiting to be finished. Keep it up. I always like to inspire others to keep going. To prove I know what I'm talking about.... I'm going into Art Center College of Design during january, and here's a picture I drew with a ball point pen, no pre sketching... just my pen and my paper.
Very different stuff. I took many yrs of art classes and sculpture and things of that nature. I would agree with toto, the art exibits are cool and all but its always good to have extremelt large pieces. I know the ones I did I made pieces over 8 feet tall and the max was less then that just becuase bigger is better. I think art is great becuase its definitally helped me with building cars and fiberglass trunks and all.
You have a diferent look on t hings and thats what usually gets peoples attention. I really like the top one.
Heres a few of the ones ive done.
I had a few painting and sculptures in a few shows but I was only there for school reasons. But I really enjoyed pencil and ink drawings.

What kind of art gallery is this? Will you be showing with other artist of the same style? What is the typical audience? What is the true scale of your works? Have you thought how you would present it?
Here in SF, there are tons of "doodle" artist, but they have very specific audiences and really know how to present there work. It seems a lot of these "doodle" artist like to show off their work because it is more playful and casual, but most also have more serious works for more serious audiences.....
No matter what, it should be a fun experience no matter how serious it is. Just be ready to overhear a lot of harsh criticism. Gotta have a "don't give a f*" attitude or you'll just be discouraged to ever show anything again!
Here are some doodles of an artist I came across:

Oh and here's an example of an awesome presentation if you have small scale drawings by one of my favorite local artist, Barry McGee aka TWIST

In all honesty people, those are my doodles :D my art teacher from college is the one that scanned them...I drew them in her class LOL. Okay guys, Please dont Thread jack...I am sure you are great artists, but I really dont want people to get confused. I have many other examples of my art, including some vinyls I have done. All of my fine drawings I have sold, or given away. I am working on revamping my portfolio. I will post more drawings tomarrow, I promise. The thing about me, is I have a VERY short attention span, ALL of my artwork is done within two hours (for the big stuff) or in as little as 15 min (for scetches like the top two) Thankyou guys for your honest opinions, I do draw realistic stuff too, I promise. But I will warn you, all of my art is kind of dark. I will be displayed in my own hallway of a world-wide exhibit, spanning the whole globe.
