I'm making a cover for Halo 3 and I need some input. For the center section, I want something exciting, but not overwhelming. To hold the place I just added the Roman Numerals for the time being. Any ideas?

 

How about the main character aiming his rifle so you're looking down the barre with hordes of bad guys behind himl. I would have to know more character and script background to come up with more. Of course i don't expect you to reveal anything. If you've actually seen the game i would think about the opening sequence and barrow from it.

 

I have only seen screen shots of the game that are on the internet. I have no affiliation with Bungie (gamemaker), I just felt like making a cover and submitting it into a competition.

 

Also, the "Finish the Fight" text is a bit hard to read and too close to the number 3. Try giving it the blue glow that the rest of the text has. The 3 is also kinda "stuck in" looking. Overall, it needs better composition.

The 3 in your pic looks like a completely different font, and does not have the same size as the rest of the text. Looks like a "ghostly" 3, to me.

Nice idea would be to only make the cover a close up shot of MC's helmet, with a horde of enemies approaching, which are reflected in his visor.

 

Have a little work to do, but the front cover is mostly finished. Thanks for the input, I hope it wins!

We got destroyed a couple games in a row and I deleveled to 26 in snipers! I think I'm gonna buy 360 soon, so hopefully I'll have a mic. (In one piece). And I think we need to start a clan! Happy sniping. Later.
