There was a genesis racing in the street class at rta this weekend. Retuned an idk whatever else it had he said he was pushing 250whp and 300tq roughly. Also said it was pretty much the max the turbo could take. I'm loving them! On the other hand Rhys millens team blew the clutch on a stock v6 gen this weekend lol. All it had was wheels coils and an intake

I've changed my mind.
I'm now looking at getting the 3.8 GT. After thinking about the differences in options...for $1.8k more than the 2.0t Track, it's 100 more hp, touch screen navigation, dash computer, auto climate control, heated seats...and the only things it loses are the Brembo's and LSD. The LSD is a big loss, the Brembo's...meh. I think for a DD, I'll take a lot more comfort over the LSD. I don't really plan on tracking the car any more than AutoX, so hopefully down the road this will be the DD, the Accord (or replacement Accord) will be the 4-seater, then find something to use solely for the track.
Oh, and this sound is just so ultra sexy. It makes me happy in my pants.

I've heard the Brembo's are nothing to run home about, they just have a more aggressive bite than the stock brakes. Plus, they have TINY pads that have rounded corners, do they don't squeal. The LSD is the only thing I'd miss, and that's something that could always be added down the road.
Besides, coming from a tC, even the low end Genesis brakes will be a huge improvement lol.

Only mods it has are LED swap for gauges/HVAC, Kami wing (still wanting to swap hatches with another SW), stage 4 clutch, 11lb flywheel, motor mounts, Sway bar, TRD springs and HIDs (and a few other things I can't think of)...it's basically back to stock.
lol it's these threads that make me wanna sell the tC...effff..oh well..good choice deciding to go with the 3.8 carbon..have you test driven it yet? I know you said you drove the 2.0t

I drove the base 2.0t. I'm going to test drive the 3.8 GT when I get back from my vacation/work trip. I have a feeling the test drive will completely sell me on the 3.8 GT.
