Default Back from paint (custom two-tone)

Boring, boring Sunday. Here are pics of my custom work.

What I started with... paint is rapidly disappearing from it:



Then I took it apart and was left with this:



Those tiny white buttons on the left are what I was using to click while the body was off to paint.



Primer coat:



Then I painted it white with the intention of doing some pearl:



But I ran out of paint, so I went with a metallic silver:



And then threw some candy red on it:



And reassembled. (When I snapped this pic, I didn't realize the top was not fully snapped in, so the imperfections where the black and red meet are now hidden)

it's missing taped off flames. btw, nice use of a watch for scale....old school.

The watch just happened to be there. I am already not happy. I rushed it, and it shows. Repaint is coming.

You'll be waiting for a while. It may be another week.

And I don't feel like using more batteries on that thing than it already goes through, so no LEDs.

i wouldn't mess with it...it already looks great. ( i might add some custom striping and clear coat since you're pretty much invested)
