So, there wasn't a whole lot of good deals going on last year. Definitely nothing worth standing in line the night before for.

Any of you guys heading out to break the bank on some good deals this day after Thanksgiving? I'm gonna go searching for a new CPU case so I can build my fileserver, but other than that, I don't really want anything that isn't blank CDs/DVDs or a random toy here and there.

 

Oh come on. You can't tell me that NONE of you guys/girls don't camp out in front of stores the day after thanksgiving to cash in on some doorbusters and whatnot. =P

 

i did last year. i got a laptop for 200 bucks. cant wait till this year. it was a fun experience! laughing at all the people who didnt get st!t

 

I'm normally drunk come that time. My family gets pretty wiley come the holidays.

 

I work in retail so no camping for me. I have to work that day. This year will be my 7th Black Friday. I actually like working that day. It goes by so quick...

 

^^ you're probably the FIRST person I've heard of that actually likes working that day. Almost every person I know of dreads it. I worked ONE black friday and I never saw daylight that day. It hurt me emotionally.

I don't work retail anymore because of days like that. hehe

Anyway, Wal-Mart is jumping ahead of the deals and they are selling a laptop for $398 starting this Sunday!

 

I still have a $200 giftcard for Best Buy and I'm hoping that they will have some cheap laptop on sale. But other than that, I usually try to avoid going outside on that day.

 

i need me a digi camera this black friday, specifically a canon powershot sd550

 

i work retail and its fun working that day!
last year i waited in line for my laptop then left the store at 8 and had to be at work at 9:30 so i had no sleep!

 

I may be camping out depending on the deals. I just hate it when you go there at 11:30p, you're 20th in line and once 5am rolls around your friends pull up and expect you to let them but in. WTF mate.

Anyways, I may get an LCD monitor, maybe a laptop and other goodies.
