CAI Noob question
Do you drive through deep water or flooding areas alot? If not, i'd reconsider getting one, as the intake is USUALLY lower the the ground and sucks up water if it gets the chance....water in engine=baddddddd

Since the intake follows down the wheel well it could possibly become submerged. Like a deep puddle or something. The last thing that you want is it to suck up water into the engine. The bypass valve prevents this by redirecting the air flow, if the filter does become submerged.
