Car Clubs (Formal & Informal)
If you help plan Scion-related events for a car club, group or dealer I have an event calendar for you to use.
This calendar simplifies roll-call and updates, let's you link to a page with your local events and auto-expires events after the date passes so you don't have to delete them yourself. You can add venues to the database so you don't have to re-type info every time you meet at a favorite spot and the Event info page includes a map link so people can find the event.
People can add their name to the list by clicking a button (getting off the list is just as easy) and the person that set up the event can email everyone signed up with update info as they add it to the event.
If this doesn't sound too impressive try thinking about a the roll-calls we post in the message boards. No more re-posting lists as people add or subtract their name from the list. Now the thread can be about the meet planning and comments afterward. Everyone on the list gets emailed whenever the event info is updated. No one should end up out of the loop because they might miss one post in the event thread.
If you have sponsors for your meet you can even add small banners to the even post and link to their site.
