well theres alot of witness'. I'm talking like 20+ people vs 3 of them. The only things that were vandalized was my gf's house and my car, no one else's stuff(now that I think about it, coincidence or not?). Would I have to take them to court to get them to fix my poop or would the law be able to do it? It's not really worth going to court over. And If i get insurance to fix it won't i have to pay my deductible? or since it wasn't my fault I won't have to?

as you can tell I'm pretty clueless as to what happens in this situation.

 

the insurance company would more then likely say you are not at fault. It's not your falt you and your car where at the wrong place at the wrong time. If you tell the insurance company that you where at your gf's house when it happened and that her house was egged as well, they probably will pay for everything if you have property damage coverage.

 

It depends on your compensation deductible. you'd have to pay that. if you didn't press charges. don't let them get away with messing up your car. you will probably have that car for a while. do you want to look at chipped paint and dented panels cuz you're afraid to go to the cops? they can't do anything about you drinking except give you a mean look and go "don't do it again". they didn't see you do it so they cannot write you a ticket. just say "i was at a party" they'll ask what you were doing. now don't say nothing. just say haning out with my friends. leave it at that. thats technically not lying.
