Just wanna know if you other cat owner's have this problem with your cats. Everytime I sit here on the computer, my cat just loves to lick plastic bags...
Why do they do that? Does anyone else know the answer cause I don't...

Prolly just likes the texture. Or was something in the bag? Something spilled on it? Cats do all sorts of weird ****, it's probably just her personality.

Nope. Just a plain O' plastic bag. My brother's cats do the same, exact thing and we can't figure it out...

 

I think they like the crinkly sound that plastic bags make.

 

My cat chews and sleeps on plastic bags. I just thought he might be retarded.

 

Cats are odd. Anytime we bring home a case of cokes, the cat has to sit in the empty crate for a while. We now have one oustide his kitty-kondo upside down. When he gets irritated (like when we squirt him from the water bottle) he gets real mouthy, runs over to the box, and while continuing to remain mouthy, "sharpens" his paws on the edge of the box, then runs into the kondo for a while.

and yes, he loves the plastic bag as well. IOW, your cat is no weirder than any other cat.

 

Mine has the habit of having to be the center of attention at all times. If my girl and I are sitting on the couch he squeezes his way between us and if we ignore him he paces and steps on our legs and laps back and forth until we pet him. And heavens forbid you try to use the computer or read anything. He sits on what you're reading or hops back and forth on either side of the keyboard in front of the monitor til you pet him. He's a serious pain in the a$$ but you gotta love him...

 

My cat does the same thing with chewing on platic. He even like to chew the bottom of my shower curtain. I took care of the problem by spraying bitter spray on it.
he also like to lay on it.

Anyone else have a cat the kinda revs up when chasing a toy? I toss one of his toys, and when he takes off, he kinda does a very short partial "meow"....more like a "mmrr". Oh and also when he plays, he attacks my feet or hands, and then nibbles for a second, then starts to lick.
