it makes me want to puke, no not accents but cheap gaudy chrome rims (almost all "popular" chrome rims are cheap , wavy , and gaudy)

i cannot stand it , my girl got them on her tC YUCK , my friend has em on his xB YUCK.


and some of them are soooo horrid I want to poke my eyes out with a fork.


anyone else feel the same?

almost all chrome rims are cheap wavy GHETTO garbage

now chrome j line , or chrome bbs , or chrome vienna's , or eurolines , or things of thta nature , HRE's for example are perfectly coated and normally nicely styled ,and yes style is subjective but still. these "NICELY DONE" chrome is not what i hate.

 

I generally hate chrome... I've seen some pull it off, but it's usually really bad.

 

Chrome used to be so freaking cool.

I've definitely have grown out of chrome and don't like the look of it on a car too much, especially rims. I don't know what ones are cheap and what ones are not.

I have to make an exception to large, nice SUVs (like Escalades and stuff) with big ol' chrome rims on them. I'd never drive an SUV like that in a million years but I do like the looks of it.

Oh crap, I think I have another exception. Is it the Dodge Magnum that looks like an old time gangster car? Anyway, I tihnk those cars are cool as all hell and look very sharp with dark tinted windows and big chrome rims.

I think that's it. I won't make an exception for my old 1997 Kia with chrome rims, lol. But back then, chrome was still kickazz.

 

it depends on how its done...if its some gangsta rollin hard in his 1990 chevy with 22s on it, then its crap. but if its done like this

then its hottttt.

 

yeah those are styled like hot poo on a crap platter at least the chrome itself is of good quality

 

i dont like the 2nd design... but the first one isnt bad IMO

I'd be all for an all-chrome sedan coup.

Though I'm more partial to a '65 Lincoln Continental 4 door convertible w/ suicide doors...triple black, of course...my dream car to go along with a classic blue w/ white stripes Shelby Cobra.

 

HPD has decent chroming, my set were wave free. Some of the styles were a bit questionable though...

 

the top and bottom wheels are nice. the middle set makes me want to gouge my eyeballs out of theri sockets!
