Hey guys!

I have Comcast high speed internet for about two years now. I pay $52.95 for the service alone without any other subscribing features and an additional $3.00 for the modem rental.

Now there is a new current offer that lets you have high speed internet for $19.99 for the first 6 months and thereafter, it's only $42.95 or $45.95 for me, because of the modem rental.

Is there any way I can get them to lower my current price? I just don't think it's fair that I have to pay $10 extra for nothing.

And comcast is the only internet service provider available in my area.

 

I have qwest price for life, 31.99 because I don't have any extras on my phone, if I add three features the price would've been 26.99, but phone bill would go up 9.99 per month, do the math, lol. I don't know if its available to you or not, and cable is faster then dsl. Buy your own modem, will be cheaper in the long run.

 

i don't think Comcast will lower your bill.
My cowork's mom works for Comcast, so she get the "new customer" price for cable and internet all year long
i am so jealous, because i am paying $100 each month for cable and internet.

 

no way they will lower your bill especially if theyre the only ones in your area.. im paying 91-92 for my sister for cable and internet.. not cheap but just about right compared to others

 

Yea they won't lower it, they'll pull taht bullshiet where they'll say its an introductory rate for NEW customers only. Sorry, I've tried with others in the past lol.
