so my son just got a psp and i want to put some of his dvd movies on to the psp but cant seem to figure out how exactly to do it??i just reformated my pc hard drive so i have no software at the time..i need to know what sofware to use (free) and what stages are needed..i tryed to use dvd fab and some converter but no luck...i understand i need to burn the movie first to the hard drive then convert the file ,then drag to the psp memory card..btw i got him a 4gb memory card and im running the 5.01 software on the psp.anyhelp would be greatly apreciated by me and my son...

 

I see you have a larger memory card. Good. Cause you're going to need it. 2 hour movies convert into
about 1 GB of space. Here's what I use for iTunes and my PSP...

Download Hand Brake. Open the app. Pop in DVD. Choose parameters and copy/burn.
*Note* Not all movies will work with this app. (What did you expect? It's free! )

 

thankyou...and your avatar is sweet lbp is awsome... even though im stuck on the island level and that dang guy were ya got to pull the lever but he hits it with the flame logs and makes it move back arggghh...

 

got the app but it will not open says try to re install to fix it but does not do anything...grrrr
