Default Corvette Exhaust

I have a WAAAY off tpic question for those of you that are more knowledgable about cars than myself.

So i was wonderign abotu exhausts for a corvette (not z06). I know that if you dont put a resonator on a 4banger it sounds rice and like p00p but what abotu if you dont have one on a muscle car? Is it loud and clean?

What size pipe do u recommend? x pipe too? resonator or not (i like liud cars!)?
borls, magnaflow, flowmaster??

just curious what ya'll think is best

From my experience in the past if you have an old school muscle and you dont use a res and you use a borla, magnaflow, or flowmaster it will be nice and loud. It should purr like old school muscles do. Go to any one of those aforementioned company sites they should have sound files to listen to. I know magnaflow does... What is it you actually looking to do??

It can be done... IMO if you want really loud do a set of edelbrock or hooker headers then do an exhaust set up minus the res that will make her scream... I really dont know which exhaust will create the most hp for a vette but I am sure there is some intel on those sites for you..

well if a 4 cylinder with the bore and stroke as a v-8 it would sound like you have a v-8 without a cross over pipe

i had duel exhuast on my old car and it didn't have a cross over pipe and it sounded nice too
