Yes, I can jack my own thread, lol.

Now the topic is about lousy eBay purchases.

 

I once ordered a phone through ebay. As always, I paid for the item right away. Then I got an email from ebay about an hour after I paid for it saying that the item had been removed for some reason that it would not tell me.

Because of this, I lost the item number, and when I wrote to the company (who I ended up getting three different responses from three different people) could not find the order. So I wrote ebay and got thier number, at least that went well. When I called them, they of course could not find the order but saw that I paid for something though paypal bought through ebay.

They told me that they would send me the phone because I had already paid. They never did send it.



It took me nearly 4 weeks to get my money back.

I got to know Dita through one of the sites I've been associated with since 1995, and when she started working on making the Japanese branch of BME (bmezine.com) a reality, I helped her with some of the specific information. After that I corresponded with her on a regular basis, just keeping in touch.

I have seen the other guy, but obviously not enough to know what it was. The puppet or whatever it was that he was holding (or was in the pic) is kind of like Thomas blinky eyes... gives me the creeps. Don't know why. Just does.

But you're right, if I knew who or what it was, I might think differently.

 

jenna is probably the only american female I've heard about that enjoys red dwarf. she musta been grown up on pbs as well.

 

Yes, I watched a lot of PBS money drives, lol. I've even gotten a few Red Dwarf t-shirts and pins from donating.

I'm big on Black Adder too (another PBS donation drive show). But there wasn't but a handful of them made.

 

I liked the midevil black adder, not the later WW1 verison.
Grew up on pbs myself, well had to watch it with the old man, i guess that's the same thing.
