Did anyone see Cloverfield this weekend?
it was a decent movie. No real character devlopment at all, but the action was good. And if you saw the picture of a monster that looks whale like, trust me when i say there is no whale-ness to the monster at all.
Not to copy, but this movie sucked, and it made me want to puke.
Seriously, if they didn't hype it like they did I wouldn't be too upset. Without giving away much, the camera work just made me dizzy, no character development, and speaking of tha camera... I need to buy one of those, because it is apparently indestructible.
If they still have dollar movies where you are, I'd wait a month or two and watch it there.

I have to say that I was entertained, but not impressed. I enjoyed it for what it was. Hud made me laugh....ah...like when they're in the subway tunnel and...
Hud: "Do you guys remember that lady who was on the news because she lit a bunch of homeless people on fire?"
someone:"Hud! That is not appropriote to be talking about right now!"
Hud:"Sorry...I just cant stop thinking about how scary it would be if one of them came running out of the dark."
You guys cant tell me you didnt laugh at that.

Hey so this movie wasn't to my liking (neither was it to my dad, so +2 for the dislike poll).
We both had a headache by the end of the movie and felt like we wasted, what was it an hour and 10? or an hour and 20 minutes?! It seemed like there wasn't much of a storyline. Would you guys really believe that that guy would go back for that girl if she wasn't hot, now come on! How about his act of heroism when he just pulled that girl off a piece of rebarb..
All in all, I give this movie a 1 out of 5 for effort.
BTW did this movie remind anyone of The Mist, which also sucked just as bad?

Lawl, I saw a news story tonight about Cloverfield making people sick. People have been complaining about vomiting, blacking out, and having seizures. They've started putting warning signs on the doors to Cloverfield screenings.
