in bethesda/chevy chase area u get a 1 bedroom condo for $500k

with 120g's u get the unfurnished basement..

texas homes are CHEAPPP my aunt is a realtor down there. this was a STEAL compared to what other places are going for.

Yeah..I see that all the time....I watch HG tv...Yeah thats right..HGTV...ever since I bought my home and they have a series were they show what you can get in different parts of the US for x amount of dollars and it just blows me away......

Congrats on the find...it is a buyers market right now...I moved into my house last year...Im already seeing more and more forclosures popping up around along with for lease/rent and for sale signs. The houses arent even a year old...
