I went to see D9 friday with a few of my friends, I thought it was an absolutely incredible sci-fi movie. I thought it was going to be a movie that only people who are into the scifi genre would like but I was wrong, there where allot of people that actually really liked it. It was funny, packed with action, the aliens looked good, everything looked very realistic right down to the guns and alien mothership it looked like the stuff was really working. The movie had a good plot, and even the acting was superb.
The movie reminds me a lot of Mars Attacks, I don't know if anyone remembers it at all. definitely one of my favorite movies of the year well worth admission.

I still haven't seen it. The first time I saw the preview, I seriously started to laugh my ___ off when the alien started to talk, the only thing I could think of was Dr. Zoidberg from futurama. But the more I saw previews, the more I wanted to see it.
it was a great movie. just goes to show that you can make a great movie with a resonable budget, and a bunch of actors nobody has ever heard of before. seriously, people need to realize that you can't just combine big names and special effects to make a great movie. there has to be a story and a plot!
