Do you have tattoes? How do you guys come up with your tattoo ideas? My guy usually just tells me what he wants to do and I go for it. A happy tattoo artist is a good tattoo artist.

I make a list of all the things I love: family, pets, books, music, hobbies, TV shows/movies, animals, places, video games etc and I make a Pinterest board for each "theme" and add any pictures I find that relate to the theme (photos, art/fanart, other tattoos, screenshots, film stills etc). It works for me. Also I read reviews, looked at their portfolio, and even talked to people who had tattoos done by the artist.
