Okay I bought a Palm 700w off this guy last night and Im really diggin in considering how much I hated my Q!! Are there any tricks anyone knows about the phone I should know?! Or anything?! Its still new to me. Does the standbye mode save any battery I wish it would just turn off sometimes

Palmw in general has a few problems. I assume you have verizon since you had the Q as well. Your going to have to reboot your phone every few days cause it has memroy blockage and needs to be reset everyfew days to clear its temporary memory. Other then that, if you want a navagation system you can get a blue tooth gps and some software and have a great nav system at ur disposal

Stand by mode does save battery and it will re activate when someone calls and I think when you get a txt message. You will need a car charger.

I was tempted by the Palm 750(I have cingular), but when I got to the store, I just didn't like it for some reason. I ended up grabbing a Blackjack. Since I like tearing up the coding and customizing my phones(I used to be a Moto man) it's a bit different for me, but I like it all in all. Still got some customizing done to it, but nothing special.

The guy at the shop did mention that the Palm's had to be restarted much more frequently than most of the other phones to keep them running proper though.
