Default Economics

How is it the price of land goes up, the price of houses goes up, the price of gas goes up, the price of food goes up, the price of airline tickets goes up, the price of insurance goes up and my paycheck get smaller? What goin on here?? Is the world going out of business??? I'm beginnig to agree with the living wage law. The working public get paid the same over so many years now and businesses continue to grow and the working public get no cut of it.

Your paycheck is getting smaller? Sounds like it may be time to pursue new career options.

^^^Agreed My paycheck is getting bigger. I've been working for this company for a little of a year and have had already a 1.10 raise (.55 twice) plus a 150 extra for doing a good job.

New career options are a must. 2 things opened my eyes. First, my cousin who was always a drugged out country boy loser shows up to Christmas dinner in a brand new Xterra. I hadn't seen him in a few years while I was obtaining my degree. I was flabergasted. He got his stuff together, went to tech shool and got certified on a bunch of MS stuff and was making about 80k/year. Then, I knew I was having issues when a friend was in Hawaii working, and all I had to do was get a plane ticket to see her, but I couldn't afford it. That's when I began exploring other options. Now I'm not that far off from making more money this year than my first two years out of college combined.

Do not believe in the entiltlement myth. No one is entitled to anything, including a decent life. Take your life into your own hands and control your own destiny.
