Default Ever needed to call tech support?

Mujibar was trying to get a job in India .

The Personnel Manager said, 'Mujibar, you have passed all the tests, except one. Unless you pass it, you cannot qualify for this job.'

Mujibar said, 'I am ready.'

The manager said, 'Make a sentence using the words Yellow, Pink and Green .

Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said, 'Mister manager, I am ready'

The manager said, 'Go ahead.'

Mujibar said, 'The telephone goes green, green, and I pink it up, and say, 'Yellow, this is Mujibar.'

Mujibar now works at a call center.

No doubt you have spoken to him. I know I have.

We have a tech support guy at work. Life was all sunshine and rainbows for us, because if we had a problem, we'd just go to him and be like, "Hey, this is our problem." In what is referred to as process improvement, a call center in India was created to handle our problems. Now we have to call them. A dude named 'John' always answers the phone, except he sure as heck doesn't sound like any John I ever met. And his voice keeps changing. Anyway, after a lengthy phone call, know what he does? He calls our tech support guy and tells him what our problem is. Worst of all? Everyone always pages me to try and translate John's accent. I'm like, "Dude, brown skin? Check. But I was born in Brooklyn." I wish I was joking, but I'm not.

So rest easy Joes06tC. You are not alone.

I'm part of "tech support" for a hosting company, and a chunk of our clients are actually from the Middle East and India. It's just as frustrating to completely reverse the situation, trust me.

This is exactly why I stopped buying anything with an HP name on it. Well...except for their printers b/c I think they are the best. Anywho, after about 10 minutes on the customer service line, I called out the dude on the other end of the phone and flat out asked "Are you in India or Pakistan because I can barely hear you so please speak up". He said "That is private information and I cannot answer that". haahahaha And he had this common American name and a thick accent. hahahaha
