Hey guys... I was having this argument with my friend... I say that 1 out of a thousand people actually offer bribes to get out of speeding tickets and he says it happens all the time. So have you ever or has "your friend" ever done this and what happened?

No I've never offered a bribe to an officer nor have the cajones to, I'm sure they find it offending and immoral and would only give them more of a reason to pin me with whatever violation they pulled me over for. That's not to say it doesnt happen, which I'm sure it does.

 

i had a few friends that were cops, they used to tell me about being bribed alot, mostly from out of town visitors, they always took them in and booked them on it...

 

That's pretty much what I was expecting... Nobody has the guts (at least I don't) and even if they did the officer would arrest them on the spot because they would lose more than the one offering if they got caught.
Oh and just in case it comes up... No trip to mexico stories, american cops only.

 

I bribe them. I put my innocent angelic face on. I get away with it.

 

^ LOL... Girls don't have to bribe cops. No cop is going to give a teenage girl with tears in her eyes a ticket. My girlfriend has been pulled over 4 freakin times and never got a ticket. Life isn't fair.

Got pulled over once, enough reasons to lock me for the night...he ended up escorting me home what a nice fellow

'whiney teary' gets a ticket every time. cops hate that **** and every chick thinks it works. she may have told you she started crying, but the reality is that she probably pushed the cleavage up a notch. or two. or something that ryhmes with notch.

got lots of cop friends, and THAT, ladies and gents, is how chicks get out of tickets.

 

Im taking law classes bribes dont work and a lotof the time teenage girls do get tickets. I personaly got away with TONS of violations but the last time I was pulled over they nailed the crap outta me.... Be careful! And yes woman cops will totally screw you over, thankfully I havent had one yet, I hear they are mean!

 

No Tony. I didn't show anything. He let me go cos I made him smile at the fact that I was 20 and was cleaning up so I wouldn't go home stinking of smoke out of respect for my mom.

 

Yea I dont bribe cops. Just gotta suck it up and Hope Police Tags save my **** like they did so many times except for 2 lmaoo.

 

I've never tried, or even thought of, trying to bribe a cop. I don't have a lot of money to throw around. Much less I think, than what would be an acceptable bribe. Besides, I usually know that I was in the wrong and accept the consequences.


And just so you all know, the "I didn't know I couldn't do that," excuse doesn't work.

 

I never thought for a second that you would try a stunt like that C. anyhow, i was totally joking around. the best way out of a ticket is to be VERY polite, but not admit to anything. if they ask you if you had any idea how fast you were going back there, the correct answer is 'yes, the posted limit was X, I noticed the sign, and I quickly glanced at my speedo to make sure I was allright.' there is always the potential that your speedo is out of calibration, and that would be a fixit ticket.

Anyways if that WAS the case I would be so freakin ____ed... I have to wait 6 months to get to second base and they get it right off the bat!?

i always get out of tickets because cops think the typical young man import driver, when they pull me over, they ask me what i was doing, i always tell them im not sure, they tell me what i "did", and typically i can talk my way thru the CVC with them to the point they respect that i am a knowledgeable driver and know the laws in and out. cops always compliment me on my gracefulness with the law, that doesnt mean i dotn see officer durrough huntsman and ferguson on the weekly basis haha. never bribed tho, my dads buddy did it in the 70's with drugs *believe it or not* but i doub tit would ever work today.

 

If it takes 6 months for you to get to second base, the problem most likely won't be the girl..
