I was bored so i played around with GT4 tonight. I got an xB to do 15.213 in the 400m test. whats the fastest you guys can get. only restriction is no nitrous and tires must not be Raceing Hards. lets see what you can get.

just for fun with nitrous 13.88

and thats not playing around with gear ratios and what not, i bet without nitrous i can get closer to 14.5

 

ooooh man, looks like im gonna have to go do some more tuning...what car did you use? the xA or xB

 

xB, played with the gears a little and hit 14.48 without nitrous and 13.42 with nitrous

 

ok well it looks like 14.36 off the bottle is the best i can do on the xB will try xA tomorrow its a little lighter

Man, nitrous in that game is so worthless..or maybe i just wasnt using it right. I remember pushing down the button and all i hear was..psssssst... and then my mph slowly goes up by 1, lol.

You can change the nitrous settings on the tuning menu...for drag you might as well turn it up all the way

The higher the setting the faster the bottle runs out, but that doesn't matter for drag anyway

I'm thinking that you do that one rally race over and over.

It's been a while since I've played, but I love that game. I finished GT3 100% and I've been stuck for months and months at 99.3% for GT4. I have to do one more 24-hour endurance and the dreaded Mission 34.

 

well the way I do it is I go to the special conditions races and go to the second race and win both of them and u win a toyota rally car and when u get it just sell and u should get around 263k and u can do it over and over and over

 

Yeah, rally is where the money is at

 

the one european race serious will net you more money in an hour. i think you get 10k per race (2-4laps) and you win a Merc DTM race car that sell for like 300k or something like that. and you can b-spec the whole thing in ~15...so its pretty easy to make nearly 2mill in an hour. im not sure what series it is, its the european hall.

 

hahah last night I bought a Subaru WRX and competed in the one make races and won that and the last one make race was the Subaru 360....

that car has like 16 hp.......redlining the whole race and I won :D
