Here's the real question......Have you ever owned one and driven one to make that assumption?
Fiat is one of the biggest automakers in europe. Their quality is far superior than the examples that were sold here years ago. Fiat owns Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, and Maserati. Their 500 was named car of the year and is one of the most popular cars in europe. I've had the opportunity to check one out and get a ride from a gentleman who imported one over here and drove it cross country for a charity event. The 500 is a top notch little car for an economy car. If you expect $50,000 price tag quality from a $15,000 car than u seriously need a reality check as that will never happen, no matter which manufacturer you go to. And even $50,000 luxury cars still have problems. Just look at Mercedes Benz....overpriced cars with tons of electrical problems.
