i loved the movie, i have the complete series on dvd, but i just haven't gotten around to watching it...

 

*raises hand*

the series was AWESOME.. and the movie was pretty cool too.
(i bloomed late.. i actually saw the movie first and didn't even realize it was a series.. )

then again.. the series had a strong following.. but the problem was it wasn't that much... (from what i was told) :?

Oh, you have to watch the series! A lot of the key plot points in the movie were to resolve open threads in the series.

And, just to make you buy more stuff, the two comics supply the plot links between the series and the movie.

Though I've been watching B5 lately, in the middle of season 4

 

I love Firefly and Serenity! My boyfriend and I can watch them over and over again and still not be tired of it. Actually, we just watched it again not too long ago on hulu. Our dvds are packed up in boxes, we just moved.
