Of course the demo is free, this isn't gran turismo 5, Turn 10 won't charge you $40 for a demo lmfao. And btw, expert mode is awesome. The new clutch system brings an entire new level of difficulty to the table.

It sucks my 360 broke on my a$$...
Then on the other hand, prices for new consoles are in the low 200s.
Hmm SO attempting... I miss my 400 hp black metallic with yellow lightning bolts that beated out Ferraris at the starting line.

The demo's out, I gotta grab it. Pre-ordered the release already, was going to grab NFS Shift but decided to wait for a real racing sim.
Hopefully they let you turbo something with a 1NZ-FE. Weight reduction on a Yaris should make it move pretty good on a small track.
FYI, I'm running my 360 on it's side, not in a cabinet, and have one of the aftermarket cooling fans on it, no RRoD yet, keeping my fingers crossed. it was originally an arcade edition (not sure what chipset that is) with an eBay hard drive.

Stupid Microsoft. I tried to download the demo and it said I needed a Gold membership. How does this make sense? The whole point of a demo is to try before you buy, enticing potential customers to buy and increasing sales. Why do I need to pay to access a free demo?
And yeah, i know the answer. Microsoft did it to add "value" to the gold membership, giving paying members dibs on the new demos. Doesn't make it right though, same as having to have the gold membership to watch netflix even though it's free on the PC w/ a Netflix subscription. In truth it didn't give anything to Gold members, it just took things away from the Silver membership.
Sorry for the rant, but it's stuff like this that makes me consider trading for a PS3. Too bad they STILL don't have a release date for GT5, the rest of the series has been solid so I hope it won't suck like prologue did.
Maybe Forza will be unlocked next week for silver.
