And by doing that, you open yourself wide open to law suits, criminal prosecution, and who knows what else. At 20, you have to understand something: your chances for someone getting killed are 10x greater than when you were 16. At this level, people carry knives and/or guns.

My mom's friend lost a son back in 88 at Slick ******* on the East side (Houston). Got into an argument with some dudes over a pool game, the dudes left, and then when he left, the dudes drove by in a pick up truck, and one of them blasted him with a shot gun from the bed, in front of his wife. Snit ain't worth it, it just aint worth it.

That's what I'm saying. I'm going through my second law suit for doing what I thought was right. You won't have such a tough guy attitude when someone is looking to extract big money from you that you don't have. This can really mess up your future, believe me.

Besides,.... no offense DrBrando, but how does being a tough guy help any sitiation?

I stepped in to help my brother when he was getting beat up by a cop. The cop was in uniform and was pushing my brother who had done nothing wrong. My brother didn't like the cop pushing him, so he swiped at the cops hand. The cop didn't like that so he started to take my brother down. I jumped in and knocked the cop off my brother. I didn't swing or anyting. This landed me in handcuffs. I asked for the supervisor and made sure that everyone that was a witness stayed around til the supervisor got there. I was let go ther on the spot and a formal complaint was filed with the police department. My brother and I actually received a letter of apology from the department and a personal apology from the cop. I was shocked! All this because some stupid girl called the cops on my bro because she didn't like what he said to her.

^^ At this point it's almost stupid not to carry a knife on you. There are so many crazy ___ people out there that you never know when you might need one. If I get into a situation where my knife is needed, I'll be glad that I took the initiative to carry one.

not true in most women's case.
a weapon like that can be easily (again in most cases: average woman size average man size) taken from her and used against her.

So pepper spray would be the way to go

i definetly agree with the spray, but i think women should carry hide away knives. some women designed them after she was attacked. im getting me and my gf one.
