free xbox 360 games...here's how (i've gotten 14 free games)
yea if i do the wii thing, ill have to lay everything out, as in list all the things i would sign up for, how many credits they give, and how much each one would cost. The wii is only 250 sooo ill have to do the math on that.
Alright i checked out everything on that wii 4 free website and its sooo not worth all the hassle of canceling and crap like that. Were better off sticking with the 360games for free website. getting a bunch of guitar hero 3's and selling them on ebay. Then use that money for a wii :-p
yeah that's what i figured too...just so you guys know amazon is out of stock on guitar hero 3 so nobody is gonna get it until amazon gets more
my status is "waiting on product" or something like that...burn.
and my warranty is voided...so i just went out and got a arcade version 360...at least i have hdmi now

it's a cheaper version so they can expand their fan base...i don't think it comes with a hard drive though...
Jeremiah, can you plug in your old hard drive into the arcade version 360? i assume you can...

yeah you can hook up everything to it...and the hdmi a. doesn't come with the cable and b. you can't use the hdmi with the optical out because it doesn't fit, so you have to break your other harness to get it to fit or buy microsoft's 50 dollar cable...convenient, huh? i chose to break it lol
wow, didn't know you had to go through all that trouble. i hate how they try and make equipment proprietary...
now do you have a 1080p TV? i have a regular 360, but i can choose 1080p output within the system settings - i was curious to see the difference between 1080p through hdmi vs. component...

nah my tv is an '06 toshiba dlp - it does 1080i and 720p...i mostly just wanted hdmi for less cables behind the tv, i hate having all the damn wire nests back there lol...
breaking the av plug wasn't bad, nothing a pair of pliers couldn't handle...and you just have to take off the bottom plastic piece so from the top it still looks like normal
i'm wondering if it's safe to cuz those wires at the plug since i'm not using any of them (the audio or video)
