I just bought the game used and I don't know if it's working properly. Is it an online game only or something? When I turn my PS2 on, it goes to the Browser/Configuration screen. Help please?

Thats actually not true...you can play GT4 online......I do all the time.....

if you have the old style PS2 it will do that. the system is about dead. ince i got rid of the old POS PS2 and got me a slim, it works prefectly. do you have your PS2 standing upright?

it depends on the "series" i got the first released ones. my brother has a little newer one with the IR for the DVD remote already built in.

from my understanding if you have the PS2 upright, the system will fail prematurly. mine did then it wouldnt read any discs.

it might need a simple lens cleaning. but make sure you get a PS2 compatable lens cleaner

 

u can call Sony and they will fix it for you or send u a new one or at least thats what they told me.....

My PS2 is pretty old and it's standing up- it works fine, except that it wouldn't play one certain DVD that I really wanted to watch...

 

I believe chipping it would solve that problem too
