I've done some pretty cool stuff with automotive electronics (stereos n such), but as far as mechanicals go, I don't attempt anything too advanced. I know my limitations. I guess if I had to pick one I'd say it was replacing the hydrolic clutch cylinder on a '78 Toyota Celica I had as a kid.

When we installed the turbo on my roommate's tC it turned over the first time... that's cool, right?

 

i rebuilt the whole engine when i was 12. does that count?

 

yea self installed turbo kits and rebuilt engine qualify. thats the kinda isht im looking for.

but even moreso im looking for things that arent done everyday.

kinda like the vtech headswap and the manual tranny and ebay turbo kits ive put on civics.

it must be a success too, it doesnt count if it doesnt/didnt work. lol

 

me being on my third tc totaled iip with 900 miles and my custom RS1 with 60k and now another RS1.. Lol gotta love those tc"s. They have kept me safe

 

So yea, the turbo went in without any issue...
The IC piping was then hacked up and rerouted, so it went from "Treadstone Disaster" to a sleeper install.

I helped my friend yank the small block out of his '69 Camaro, rebuilt it, and reinstalled. That's as much as I've done.
