My damn connection is bad. I get booted out of games like you would not believe! I called Microsoft and they told me to call Comcast and they told me to call Microsoft, I'm so mad. It's either my modem's network card or something wrong with the Xbox. I don't know what to do.

It's cable. I did direct connect and through the router and had the problem both times. I tried everything except buying a new modem and Xbox.

unplug your modem and keep it unplugged for 60seconds. Then see if this fixes your problem. Then - if that doesn't work unplug your router. See how that goes.

Thanks, but I've unplugged everything in every possible combination. I've tried:
-Direct Connect.
-New Ethernet Cables.
-Deleting my account and doing account recovery.
The woman on Microsoft told me that it was something to do with packets of information. I'm only receiving 16/25, when I should receive 24 or 25 of them. But when I called Comcast, they said that I was receiving 100% of them. So the problem is between the Modem and my Xbox. It's not the router and it's not the ethernet cables. (It's one of the two most expensive components)

No, it's cool. My Live subscription is about to run out anyway. And when school starts, I won't have time to play anyway; it's just annoying that I couldn't get it fixed. Thanks for the offer though.

That Saget video was awesome

At college (before i graduated) we had 2 tvs and two xboxs in our room ..... pretty crazy halo playing. All you need is a crossover cable and ya dont have to worry about using a router.

Cool, I was going to get 360 but now I don't think I want to.

I totally bypassed my router and connected directly to the modem; to no avail. I doubt it's my Xbox because I never dropped it or anything like that. It just sits in the ent. center and collects dust. Only time that I touch it is to turn it on and off.

its prob not the xbox - prob your modem - like i said before - try unplugging the power wire from your modem (and make sure your cable wire is not loose) ....keep it unplugged ....and try it again.

nah, you need to change your NAT setting on your router. my 360 didn't want to play with others until I played with that setting, and now it plays just fine.

Well, I unplugged and ran diagnostics and it was 14/25 packets. That's the lowest it ever was.
