anybody getting excited about it?

i am...I love Halo....but im not gonna spend the night at no best buy to get it...lol

ive watched the demo and it seems very promising. ensemble studios has built the game from the ground up just for the 360
its safe to say i will probably pre-order the special edition

i used to love playing the red alert series and ensemble and westwood seem to run along the same lines so i really cant wait for the release

the demo will be out on the 360 on feb. 5th (thursday) and the game will be released in the US on march 3rd

 

i watched demo and i'm not sure i like it. looks more in way of like world of warcraft type style in a way. but who knows i usually only play it live anyways lol

alright well i just finished playing the demo and let me say, they did one he!! of a job on it

 

def will have to rent when comes out as not sure how will fair compared to the rest

 

what are you comparing it to?

 

just meant to past halo's ; (debated getting COD since that's where everyone else seems to have went anymore)

 

i would take halo 3 over COD any day... but halo wars is not really comparable to halo 1-3 simply because its not first person shooter. However, if halo wars is being compared to any of the red alert series, it seems to blow it out of the water. It gives you that real time strategy game feel commanding familiar forces you see in the halo series.

I played the Demo, its alright. I'll probably pick it up for cheap

It felt like the UNSC were way stronger than the covies though... :?
