Default has anyone put their own website together before?

Before my son was born I was active in the psychic community. My speciality was (still is) Tarot reading. I've been thinking about it a lot lately for several reasons, it was a low stress, lucrative "job", and well, I need the capital. Of course my mind goes to the internet, but I'm not really in internet buff. I need some advice on how to start a REALLY cheap or FREE... I'd prefer FREE website that I could use to do Tarot readings... I don't know much about Pay Pal either, but I'm guessing that's the best way to collect money... I need some advice... I also need advice on how to not sound like a looney new agey person.... Thanks.

(OR if you have a get rich quick scheme... let me know.)

Check with your ISP. Many ISPs offer webspace for free with your service. There are also many ad supported websites for free. However, they could be very annoying to your customers.

You can hire a company to do it for you but they might charge a lot.

If you know a college kid who's a com sci major, you can ask them to do it for you for free since many of them need something like that.

If you're going to do transactions, you'll need ssl and that will cost you, not that much tho.

you can also have the choice of running your own server or just have another company host it for you. I'd just have another company do it so you won't have to worry about hardware issues.

Good luck.
