ok....it seems like every time im out on the streets with my scion or the highway big trucks(suv's,f-250,those kinda trucks) like to tail gate me i do have the muffler can on the car megans dirft spec but thats no reason to tailgate me even if im stop at a light or on the mainroads most trucks gets so close to my rear end so some time i slow down quickly just for the hell of it then they beep at me im saying well dont tail gate me......you would think since the cars loud that they stay back......sometimes they pass me reving there engines and get in front of like i care im dont wanna race just wanna get home safley..


The other day this Lexus car was tail gating me i was going 40 mph speed limit then iguess he got annoyed went around me speeding he didnt see the cop stop in traffic at another light and boom got pulled over....

So does this happen to anyone else

All the time and when they do tail gate me i slow down 10 mph just to ____ them off and when i see them back out then i speed up HAHAHAHAHAHA. OR sometimes when theres a car next to me i stay a car and half bedhind it and stay the same speed that way the guy behind me cant get infront HAHAHA i know im n ___.

Eh... not really. On regular roads and in town, I'm usually going with the flow of traffic or just over the speed limit. On the highway, I'm often near the speed limit or maybe only 5 over - so I'm usually going slower than most people but they have another lane to go around.

it's just people don't know how to drive. people tail gate me all the time in my fj and even pull up so close at a light that i barley see the roof of the car behind me. having a loud annoying exhaust doesn't mean people are going to stay away.

yea most time i let them pass me cause if they do pass me and i try to catch up to them or pass them thats sending a messge that i dont want them to have...people in big trucks think there the big thing on the road they can do what ever they want...they all think since you have a big muffler that you race but thats not true i like the look and the sound you get and extra 4 hp at that.....im sure if everyone drove a stick they wouldnt be tail gating.......what not as bad......i just mind my on busniess you wanna pass me and show off go right ahead just dont blame me if you get a speeding ticket or get into and accident which i see all the time people are impatnet and wanna speed

^^yup exactly i just mind my own business too no use for us getting speeding tickets. And ya your right bigger cars think they are the shizz on the road i get cut off by alot of suvs and trucks all the time F'ing aholes.

I hate people who tailgate, I can't drive stick well so I roll back, and freak cause I think I'm going to roll into them.

If they tail me while I'm drive I just slow down, when they try and pass I speed up and just box them in if there's another car.

i have epically loud 3 inch exhaust, so if people tailgate me, i just shift to neutral and rev the hell outta my engine, scares the crap outta everybody.

if that doesn't work, throw pennies out the sun roof.

well at least im not the only one well i knew that but makes me feel better.....i do notcied any car with a big exhaust people tend to tailagate i bet ya they wanna see what it sounds like...sometimes i wonder what are they trying to accomplish by doing that but i think they wanna scare you with there big trucks they might have more power but weigh alot who knows life goes on

But seriously, around my town its a bunch of rich ppl in nice cars who want to fly everywhere and show off and don't care about other ppl on the road, so this happens to me all the time and it gets really annoying.

The only time I do the speed limit is when I'm hungover. I usually drive at least 5-10 over and if someone starts to tailgate me I speed up more so I can get over. I don't want some douche crashing into my car b/c they drive like an ****.

Odd man. It's been my experience that the ones with the loud mufflers are the ones who drive aggressively. I have a theory though... if you've ever been on a Harley charity ride or something, you know it's better to be the guy in front than the guy in back. Holds true for car mufflers.

well some people with the loud mufflers do drive fast to show off there cars and others drive normal to keep there loud cars down depending on who you are..o sometimes get that urge which last for 5 min then its all out but you do have a point but still big trucks should not be tail gating..those harley bikes are another story there louder then the cars are they tailgate just as bad
