Has a radar detector ever saved you from getting a ticket?

They are awesome, I love mine, and I wont drive without it.
My Escort Passport 9500 is wonderful and has saved me from tickets more times than I care to remember. Before that, my Bel was wonderful too.
About the cops finding a reason to pull you over if they want to.. The point of having a radar detector is to avoid bringing attention to yourself in the first place (by speeding). If you just roll by at the right speed you have no reason to single yourself out and get his/her attention in the first place.
Lasers. You're screwed. Lucky for me they dont have them in my state.
