So for Christmas I got a 25 dollar gift card to ebgames, now I was thinking since the card normally would be enough to buy much why not get a PS2 at a reduced price?

now the question is, while looking on their website they have multiple refurbished PS2s, would getting one of those be a good idea? Anytime I see the word refurbished I think POS that shouldn't be sold again, though they do say guaranteed to work...how well though? Someone please tell me if this would be a bad investment.

I really don't want to go over a hundred dollars for a system that would prob. only see Final Fantasy XII on it. or should I drop the idea and just buy an xbox game?

well its up to u if u really really really want the ps2 or not.

fyi i bought 2 used ps2's from EB/gamestop. one for me and one for my dad.
havent had a problem with them.

and if ur that worried, i think the have a warranty thingy. may cost u though
